Biography
I divide my time between academia and photography. I have studied law and politics, and currently I am pursuing a PhD in sociology at the London School of Economics, UK.
I photographed since 1998, and since 2006 I have been teaching history and aesthetics of photography at different venues (ex: University of Athens Cultural Union of students).
For my photographic work I have received the 1st Prize of the European Central Bank Annual Award 2007, the 1st Prize of the Athens Photo Festival Award 2009, and 1st prize of Photon Festival Award, Ljubljana 2012. I was a finalist of Descubrimientos: Photoespana 2010, Center Project Lunch 2011, Emergentes DST: Braga 2010 and 2012, Photolucida Critical Mass 2012.
