Carlos Palma

Carlos Palma (b. 1971, Portugal) is a photo-documentary that works on the borderline between photojournalism and art. He makes visible what is not visible. In the past years, Palma, has accompanied the Afghan, Kurdish, and Syrian conflicts, between many other wars. His work is focused on the social aspects of these human disputes. With particular attention to the human being living through warfare, rather than on the belligerence, on the suffering and destruction. He composes colorful visual documentations that question’s the way we perceive social reality within a conflict zone.
