I tried to create a metaphor about my grandparent’s journey, looking for a new life after the second world war. Water became my metaphor. Crossing the ocean without know where they were going, who they would meet, filled with feelings about the people they had lost, through the letters, through the pictures. They try to reconstruct my family.
