About This Exhibition:

Chinese Miners

Approximately three hundred Chinese workers have lived in makeshift tents across the street from the Chinese embassy in Bucharest, to protest against their Romanian employers who have fired them without paying their salaries for the last two months of work. The situation lasted for about three months. Some found other jobs in Romania, some went home to China.

Bucharest, Romania, 2009
