Sarah Higley | Dancing With Art

Bio

Within Second Life, Sarah (as Hypatia) has read her poetry at several venues, met other poets and artists, and consequently found publishing outlets for her work. She has built a representation of the University of Rochester's special collections of medieval literature--The Rossell Hope Robbins Library, housed on Eduisland 3--and she is busy finishing a "representation" of Chaucer's "Pardoner's Tale" housed on an island she bought for that purpose. She has been given a modest grant by her university to incorporate her research on machnima and virtual worlds in a class she is presently teaching (Fall 2010).
