Noemi Veberič Levovnik (1985) is active in the field of performance art, music, visual art and moving image. She graduated from Film and Fine Arts at the University of Paris 8 and from Contemporary Art at the Ecole supérieure d’art de Quimper. Her artistic practice is at the constant intersection of different artistic disciplines, techniques and media. She explores the notions of identity, gender, feminine, dream. She is very interested in psychology and psychoanalysis, which have a constant influence on her work. Noemi is principaly interested in establishing an emotional connection with the spactator through the work of art, which she sees as therapeutic as well as life-enriching. She likes stories, and constructing her own world, into which she can’t wait to invite the spectator. Currently, Noemi is most interested in performance art, cabaret and music.
