Daniel Kariko Kariko received his Masters of Fine Arts in 2002 from Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona. While he was a gradate student he was awarded an Austria Travel Grant, and spent a month as a guest of the City of Salzburg in summer of 2001. Since 1999, Kariko’s
images investigated
the idea of disappearing
and changing landscape.
His current long-term
projects address the
issue of land use
in Florida, the endangered
wetlands in South
Louisiana, and the
aftermath of the war
in Balkans, in his
native Serbia. He
has exhibited these
works in the States
and internationally.
